Story Line:

In August 1939, a worker goes into labor while working in a slaughterhouse and dies after a complicated labour, although the deformed child survives. The possibly orphaned child is thrown in the dustbin and is later found by a beggar, who brings him home. Over the years, a mentally retarded and troubled boy named Thomas is raised by the Hewitt family despite suffering from psychological problems as well as an unknown skin disorder, later working at a meat packing plant. In July 1969, when the facility closes, residents move to other locations, but the deformed, mentally childlike Thomas breaks into a rage after being humiliated and kills the foreman. His deranged brother (believed to be his uncle due to their age difference) executes the sheriff who arrested Thomas, and assumes his identity, wearing his clothes, driving his car on the streets in Texas and himself as Sheriff Hoyt. Meanwhile, brothers Eric and Dean are traveling in a jeep with their girlfriends Christy and Bailey, Eric to serve in Vietnam and Dean running to Mexico. When the group has a car accident, Hoyt arrests Eric, Dean and Bailey and brings them to his home. Christy follows them in a journey of horror and gore, trying to rescue the trio trapped in the house of tragic and insane cannibals.
