However, The Notebook dragged me through the story from start to credits—and then made me cry long after it ended. I, along with almost every other person with whom I have discussed the film, felt involved in the circumstances and the character’s life—crying in moments of sadness and feeling joy in moments of joy. In general, love stories tend to be predictable and somewhat dull (in my opinion), yet this film made me anticipate the outcome, and gave twists throughout the film. The notebook was very well made and I would give it an eleven out of ten.
