In the not-too-distant future, John Connor is a key member of the resistance against the machines that have taken over Earth. From the recording that his mother has abandoned him, he knows that he must find Kyle Reese and send him back to Earth if that should happen in the future. Reese is just a teenager, on the run like many other humans.
While in the company of another survivor, Marcus Wright, Kyle is captured by machines and taken to Skynet’s headquarters in San Francisco. Connor sets out to rescue her but is shocked by Wright’s true nature. It seems that everything is not and success is far from guaranteed.

Terminator Salvation (2009) review
I was hesitant to watch this film. I didn’t want it to be too dark and foggy and depressing. I mean, it was somewhat dark, but there was hope in the end. This is not a mindless action film. It’s definitely an action movie – but a good story I thought. very happy! The story was well done. The characters were great – Marcus in particular. You felt what he felt. I think this movie deserves more than 6.9 – that’s the current rating (as of 12-9-09). If you are a fan of Terminator and T2 – check this out. I saw the T3, but wasn’t impressed with it and can’t remember much about it (when something doesn’t make an impression, it’s usually not that good) – in my humble opinion. I dunno – maybe I’ll have to watch it again. I love Marcus in this movie. I won’t give anything away – no spoilers here. Just watch it – you must like it. 🙂
