Solo: A Star Wars Story Review
So I belong to the generation that experienced Star Wars from the very beginning. Standing in a crazy penis line, literally wrapped around the local theater as a kid in 1977. Completely unaware I was about to watch a film that would become my central interest in my childhood, early teens, and once again as an adult. And after all these years, I am able to share this fantasy with my own son. I liked solo. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, but it was a fun ride and it aroused the feelings I associate with Stat Wars. The world and characters felt right. It showed us some cool new things about life in the world the Empire was living under. Wonderful Cities of Korelia… It felt like Rogue One to me. Modern filmmaking techniques yet distinctly evoke the vibes of the classic Star Wars world. Anyway, I wanted to have some positive reviews for this movie to contrast this strange wave of hatred from the “fans” here. I really don’t understand it. I love just about every Star Wars movie out there. Some are better than others. Everyone has weak moments, to be sure. But no one deserves the seemingly irrational hatred that some people are venting out. Solo is good and well worth your time if you like Star Wars. Just a fan opinion.
