Story Line:

Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, ‘Les Misérables’ prisoner-on-parole, 24601, travels with Jean Valjean as he follows the ruthless Inspector Javert on a journey beyond the barricades, at the center of the June Rebellion. Meanwhile, the life of a working-class girl with a child is at a turning point as she turns to prostitution in order to pay money to the evil maid and his wife who takes care of their child, Cosette. Valjean’s promise to care for the child eventually leads to a love triangle between Cosette, Marius who is a student of the rebellion, and Eponin, a girl from the streets. The people sing about their anger and Enjolras inspire the students to fight over the barricades.
