story:

After trying to reconnect with her dead mother, teenager Quinn Brenner asks psychic Alice Rainier to help her, something she refuses because of conversational events in her childhood. Quinn begins to observe paranormal happenings in her home. After a vicious attack by a demon, his father goes back and begs Alice Rainier to use his abilities to contact the other side in hopes of stopping these attacks by this fiery demon material for a body. Huh.

A prequel set before the Lambert family haunts that recounts how talented psychic Alice Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead to help a teenage girl targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
