I’m sorry this movie wasn’t everything we dreamed of, but can we honestly be surprised when Hollywood screenwriters eschew extremely complicated story arches? He has made this story simple to the public in the same way that The Lord of the Rings was made simple to the public. If you spend your time comparing this movie to the original movies you will come across less every time. It’s not the original film, it’s it’s own film that you need to appreciate as it stands (I know it’s hard, believe me).
