Mike Howell is a stonemason who lives in the sleepy town of West Virginia, where he works as a convenience store clerk. He plans to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Phoebe Larson, on a flight. American Ultra (2015) review
Watched last night as a free preview and we were blown away (as did the rest of the audience – people applauded in the end). Great cast, great story and great action. Never seen or heard the trailer of this flick but would definitely ask family and friends to watch it. It was funny, dramatic, and what unfolded was a constant surprise. You never knew what was going to happen next (which is rare for me in movies – I always guess what was coming next). John adored Leguizamo – he was as hilarious as Jesse Eisenberg’s friend. Always love Topher Grace (in Predators and Spiderman 3 blew me away and think she should be used a lot in movies – very little). Final review: Check it out – think you’ll enjoy it.
