Movie Plot: Set in 1980 after the death of its hero Jason Todd, billionaire businessman Bruce Wayne was forced to retire from his Batman personality. Ten years later, Gotham City has emerged from crime and is intimidated by a gang called Mutants. Wayne, 55, maintains a friendship with 70-year-old retired police commissioner James Gordon (who knows Batman), while the Joker (Batman’s archer) has become a catatonic at Arkham Asylum since Wayne’s retirement. Arkham prisoner and former district attorney Harvey Dent underwent plastic surgery to repair his damaged face. Although he was released, he went into hiding shortly after his release. News of Dentena’s disappearance, a crime epidemic across the city, and the memory of her parents’ death inspire Gwen to become Batman. He faced serious offenses, rescuing 13-year-old Carrie Kelly, but is now struggling with the physical limitations of age.
